The Supermarine Spitfire is one of the most iconic aircraft in history. It played a vital role in the Royal Air Force's victory in the Battle of Britain, and continued to serve throughout the Second World War. The Spitfire Vc was a variant of the Spitfire that was introduced in 1941. It was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 engine, and was armed with two 20 mm cannons and four .303 machine guns.
