Marvin Waller was born in New York City in 1928. He began drawing and painting at an early age, and by the time he was a teenager, he was already selling his work to local galleries. After graduating from high school, Waller studied at the Art Students League in New York City. There, he studied under some of the most influential artists of the time, including Reginald Marsh and Yasuo Kuniyoshi.
After graduating from the Art Students League, Waller began his career as a professional artist. He quickly gained a reputation for his unique style of painting. His work is often characterized by its use of bright colors and bold brushstrokes. Waller often painted scenes of everyday life, but with a touch of surrealism. His paintings are often full of unexpected juxtapositions and strange occurrences.
